♡ Korean Gradient Lips ♡

Hello! ♡
In August, I wrote a K-Pop idol make-up tutorial, where I mentioned Korean gradient lips. I like this look a lot, so I thought I'd write about it in more detail in a separate post ^^

Gradient lips are exactly what they sound like. In Asian make-up, small lips are desirable, as opposed to the West. This look makes your lips appear much smaller and cuter. It's also unique and fun!

So, how do you achieve it? It couldn't be simpler! I'll show you three ways to do this.

Method 1

Cover your lips in concealer to lighten their natural colour.

Choose a lipstick (matte won't work for this) and apply it on the centre of your lips.

Smudge it out with your fingers or a q-tip.

Apply more lipstick on the centre of your lips. This time smudge it out slightly and only from the outside, so that it blends with the rest of your lips.

If you wish, finish with a clear lip gloss.

Method 2

Cover your lips in a lipstick of choice- here, matte could work, though glossy is better.

Apply concealer on the outer edges of your lips and carefully blend inwwards.

If needed, add more concealer and / or lipstick and adjust until you get the desired effect.

Finish with a clear lip gloss if you like ^^

Method 3

Get a light coloured lipstick and apply it on your lips.

Take a darker colour that will blend nicely with the first one and apply it on the centre of your lips. The bigger the contrast, the better.

Sorry for the awful lighting here!!

Blend it out so that the colours transition nicely.

Add lip gloss!

See how easy it is? Have you tried Korean gradient lips before? What do you think? What are your favourite colour combinations? Let me know in the comments, and...

Have a lovely day!

♡Nami Airando- Japanese Festival in Wroclaw♡

Hello! ♡
On Saturday, a Japanese festival called Nami Airando took place in Wrocław. It sounded very interesting as it wasn't an anime convention, but an event more focused on traditional culture.
I had a lot of fun! In this post I'll show you what I saw and did ~

♡K-Pop Idol Make-Up♡

Hello! ♡
I first fell in love with K-Pop when I heard 2NE1's "I am the best"- discovered by chance. And it kinda went from there... ^^ Then my drama obsession was born...But, it's hard not to fall in love with K-Pop! It's upbeat, catchy, and... the idols just look soooo perfect.
K-Pop idols have a lot in common that give them that...uh...look. After replicating their make-up techniques, I came up with this look so you too can look *almost* like your favourite idols. (I have used the word look way too many times, oops ><)
Ready? Let's go!

♡Kawaii Back to School 2018♡

Hello! ♡
It's... that time of the year again. The fact that school is only 2 weeks away hit me like a truck... I'll miss not having to wake up at 5am and not worrying about tests. On top of that I start high school (a year late as when I returned to Poland, my Polish was quite lacking so I moved back a year to catch up) so I'm really nervous... in Poland you start high school when you're 16. You can choose a general high school, which is what I chose, and a 'profile' depending on your skills and interests. Each profile prepares you for different university majors and has different subjects at higher level. There are also vocational and technical high schools. Anyway! I chose a humanistic profile, so I'll have higher Polish, History and Civics. I will also have an extra subject- theatre and film education. I look forward to that ^^

I really went off on a tangent here, so let's get to the point. I think you can agree that cute supplies make school so much more enjoyable. They add motivation and look pretty. So I'll show you the cute supplies I have for the upcoming school year~
By the way, in last year's post I included my bag and what's in it. This year, that will be a separate post ^^

By the way! I apologise for the lower quality of pictures. This is temporary^^
